Upcoming 2024 Racing

Posted by marissa Fajbik on Sep 11th 2024

We can't believe it's already September! Racing season is coming to an end. We took a break from keeping up with race schedules for our small business series, but today we'd like to mention what local dirt bike and ATV races are left so you can plan ahead.

GNCC

GNCC will host Round 11, The Mountaineer this weekend in Beckley, West Virginia. It takes place on the Summit Betchel Reserve, manage by the National Council of the Scouts of America. The rugged West Virginia mountains will provide a tough course full of trees and tight, technical trails.

GNCC asks racers to note that above ground fire pits must be used and no imported firewood. They are honored to be able to race on the grounds, so racers should be mindful of the property during their stay.

As usual, micro dirt bikes and all ATVs will race Saturday, followed by eMTB and Stacycs. There's also the Team Faith chapel service Saturday night. Sunday will be dirt bikes.

Check out the other things to do in the area as well, such as hiking the New River Gorge. You can find more information as well as activities and camping on the GNCC website.

AWRCS

AWRCS only has 2 races left for the season! Round 9 will be BFR (Ben Franklin Range) in Templeton, Pennsylvania, a little over an hour North of Pittsburgh. The dates are September 21-22. There will be ATVs, Stacys and UTVs held on Saturday, then dirt bikes on Sunday.

The very last race of the season will be Round 10, Rock Run, in Patton, Pennsylvania. The last round of AWRCS is always held there, and is always a double points race. It's important for racers to attend if they need the extra points towards their year end finish!

Find more information about AWRCS racing on their website here.

EROC

EROC is another race series local to Pittsburgh you might see some of our riders attending. They have less rounds than most other series, though. Their last round will be October 19-20 Coal Hollow, The Mine Run in Wellsville, Ohio.

Similar to GNCC and AWRCS, EROC features ATV racing on Saturdays as well as pit ATV racing. Then, Sundays is all dirt bike racing. You can check out their website for more information and to see their classes.

A lot of these races are back to back weekends, so it is important to keep up with maintenance on your bike. You want to make sure it is safe to ride and is going to last the whole race so you get the best results. You should make sure your dirt bike or ATV is in working order by doing things like checking the tires and chain, changing the oil, and making sure the engine is running properly. If you struggle to find time to keep up with taking care of your bike, check out a service like BNR Motorsports or Motoworld that we have mentioned in our previous Small Business blogs- they can help take care of everything for you!

On our end, we want your graphics to look great throughout the whole season! If you happen to loose a piece, get a scratch or tear a corner- let us know! We can help replace whatever piece or pieces you may need to keep your bike looking great! Just reach out to customer service at support@sengegraphics.com.
