Congratulations to all riders who are headed to Loretta Lynn’s Ranch! We see all your hard work and dedication to dirt bike racing and it is paying off. Keep on pushing for the rest of the season!

Loretta Lynn’s Ranch

Loretta Lynn was an American country singer/songwriter who grew up in Butcher Hollow, Kentucky as a coal miner's daughter. She married Oliver "Doolittle" Lynn and had 6 children.

Her husband encouraged her love of music. Loretta moved to Nashville in 1960 where she began her career the world of country. She focused on writing songs about her life that other women could relate to. Over her long career, she won many awards, created friendships with other singers, and became a role model for women. She was the first woman to win the Country Music Association's Entertainer of the Year award in 1972. Sadly, she passed away October 4, 2022 in her home on her ranch.

Loretta Lynn's Ranch is currently an event compound in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee that features campgrounds, cabin rentals, miles of trails, and other attractions. The facility also hosts the largest amateur motocross race in the country- the AMA National Championship- which some of our riders are going to attend! They also host many other rides and races throughout the year.

Loretta and her husband always welcomed the racing community. The first race was held on their property in 1982 after a suggestion from Dave Coombs. Now, the AMA National Championship dirt bike race is a six day event held there. Only the top racers in each class qualify- it’s a great honor for the dirt bike riders attending!

Other races and trail rides are featured there too- check out the website for updates on racing and events. You'll find events for all kinds of vehicles like dirt bikes, ATVs, Jeeps, and motorcycles! They even offer tours of the ranch and there is a store on-site. It is definitely worth it to go to watch the race and enjoy the experience.
