Posted by marissa Fajbik on Mar 6th 2024

GNCC racing resumes this weekend for The General at Aonia MX Pass in Washington, Georgia. While there are normally a few weeks in between races, these rounds are so close together due to riders already being down south.

Round 2 Results

Round 2 was last weekend in Palatka, Florida. Our sponsored pro rider Ronnie Rusch grabbed 11th in XC Pro and 17th overall.

As for the AmPro Yamaha team- Liam Draper grabbed 15th in XC2 250. Bubz Tasha grabbed 15th in 250A. Ricky Russell was 11th in XC1 Open Pro. Michael Delosa was 11th in 250A.

Congrats to everyone with their Florida GNCC finishes!

Round 3 Information

Round 3 is The General in Washington, Florida. GNCC is asking that riders don't arrive early due to excessive rain in the area. The gates will not open until 6PM Thursday, March 7th. They are hoping that will give the facility time to drain in order to get everyone's vehicles and campers in.

There is a $20 primitive camping fee, which you can check out on the website for Aonia Pass. GNCC online bookings are closed, so call for more information.

The General is a favorite among GNCC racers and locals. The track features a mixture of fast paced trails as well as tight turns and part of the motocross track. You can expect to see the typical Georgia red clay mud. The course will be different than years past for a new, exciting race experience.

There are a few things to do in the area including tours, shopping and local restaurants. Check out the GNCC website here for suggestions.

What's Next?

GNCC will resume back in South Carolina for Round 4 Camp Coker Bullet. This round will be March 23rd and 24th.

Keep checking back with GNCC, but the site states to look out for a camping fee that is to be announced. There will also be a fishing tournament Saturday evening from 6 to 7:30pm. There will be an overall winner as well as a prize for top 3 in each class.

The event is held on Moree's Sportsman reserve, which has also hosted AMA District 9 events and the Loretta Lynn Amateur motocross qualifiers in the past. There's fun activities as well as the track!
