Rider Feature- Keaton and Parker Henderson
Posted by Marissa Fajbik on Mar 22nd 2023
This week, we are bringing back our Rider Features and introducing you to the Henderson Brothers, Keaton and Parker, from Wattsburg, PA. They've been racing since they were little and are still competing 11 years later.
Keaton Henderson #24
Keaton is 19 years old riding a Yamaha YFZ 450R. He races GNCC in College A, AWRCS in Pro, and NECXC in Pro. His goal for 2023 is to work towards the class championship in College A for GNCC. He will need to finish in the top 3 positions each round for that to happen.
In October 2022 during the last round of the year, Keaton won his class at a GNCC race for the first time (pictured below). He was first in College A. He has been racing for 11 years, but this was his first national win. He worked hard all year and finally made it happen- an exciting and proud moment for him. He is continuing to work towards winning College A for the 2023 season.
Keaton says his biggest challenge for the year will be staying consistent, but that is what will bring him the championship. He wants to focus on good starts, staying up front early on in the race, and have a great maintenance program for as little mechanical issues as possible.

Parker #69
Parker is 17 years old and riding a Yamaha YFZ 450R. He races GNCC in College A, AWRCS in Pro AM, and NECXC in Pro AM. His goal for 2023 is to have solid races and finish in the top 10 each round for the College A class at GNCC. He plans to stay focused and continue to work hard on and off the track.
Parker says his biggest challenge for the year will be the competition he faces in the College A class. This class has continuously grown with racers, as there are now 22-25 racers registered for it each race. He says the talent is strong, so it will be important to have good starts and stay focused throughout the 2 hour race, finishing in a top position.
