Good Vinyl Quality/OK Fitment..
I was happy with the quality of the vinyl. I installed the kit dry using a heat gun, and it was easy to conform to the angles, curves, and contours to get everything laid down properly. That said, I was a bit disappointed with the fitment. There was one screw hole on each side of the brushless side panel that wasn’t cut out (though I’m not sure why the left side needs cutouts at all, since screws aren’t inserted from that side), and some of the corners were a bit jagged. I understand there are a lot of pieces involved, but I wish the corners had been rounded and/or shaped better to match the natural molding of the plastic side panels and rear frame bars. Overall, the kit works, and it’s probably more than good enough for a kids’ bike. The price is also better than most other kits available for the STACYC. Whether that’s enough to make up for the fitment issues, I’ll let you be the judge.
