Small Business Series- LM Action Sports Photography

We've said it before and we'll say it again- race photographers are some of the greatest people at the track. They put a lot of hard work into capturing and editing pictures.

Photography in general is important because pictures help us hold memories. Specifically for race photographs, you can look back on pictures to see how you've improved and remember specific races or bikes you had! Photos are great to have as keepsakes and can be used for many things such as on racing resumes, banners, or printed to hang up in frames. We can use high resolution photos from photographers to create custom banners! Just contact us at support@sengegraphics.com to order. We have been doing a bunch of banners for the Loretta Lynn's race lately.

Capturing race photos at the track is difficult. Riders are zooming past, so they have to be quick to get the right shots. The terrain is also a huge factor. The race photographers, especially for hare scrambles, are trekking through rough woods to get to the right spots for pictures. They also might have to battle the unpredictable weather.

Lots and lots of time goes into editing the pictures afterwards too. Between uploading, sorting though images, and editing- it's so much more than snapping a picture. It's important to consider how much time and effort goes into getting images on your dirt bike when purchasing images from your race photographer.

We'd like to welcome Lou Milliard back into our discussion as this week's feature for our small business series. Lou owns and operates LM Action Sports Photography and frequents AWRCS (the dirt bike and ATV race series that was featured in our blog last week).

Lou specializes in motocross related photography. You can check out his Facebook page here. He's also been doing some cool videos lately! Recently, he took pictures at Off the Beaten track- a day camp for beginner or intermediate riders to learn proper techniques. Our sponsored pro ATV rider Ronnie Rusch was there as well as Logan Steele, Cory Blystone and Kevin Yoho.

LM Action Sports Photography also offers personal sessions, where you can get images of yourself and your bike. Whether you want a portrait or an action shot, Lou has you covered.

There are many great local race photographers, but we chose to feature Lou because he's a great point of contact for us. We frequently need high quality dirt bike or ATV pictures for things like banners and our blog covers or website, and Lou consistently helps us out. He is reliable, quick to respond and his images are great!

What's Next?

Keep checking back with us for more dirt bike content. We want to keep you informed on local races, dirt bike related businesses and all things off-road!

Next week for the blog, we will take a break from the small business series to discuss the AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship at Loretta Lynn Ranch. The event runs from Monday, July 29th to Saturday, August 3rd in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee. Safe travels and good luck to everyone attending!
