Motocross Training Near Pittsburgh

Learning to ride a dirt bike can be intimidating, especially if you are starting at an older age. While you could read articles and watch videos to learn new tips, physical experiences are the best way to go. Practice makes perfect, so putting in time is the best way to learn and improve.
Even if you've been riding for years, there is always more to learn. Keeping an open mind and being willing to learn new techniques will help you continue to improve your racing skills. There are a few riding schools near where we are located in Pittsburgh, PA that can help out.
Josh Lojak's House of Speed
Josh offers motocross and off-road training. His class is currently taught at Switchback MX in Butler, PA on Tuesday nights from 6 pm to 8pm. The track is an indoor motocross track where all ages and skill levels are welcome. Josh has certifications in CPR and first aid and passes annual background screenings. He makes sure to keep the classes small to ensure each rider gets a fair amount of time.

Off the Beaten Track
Off the Beaten Track is hosted by Cory Blystone. This class is affiliated with the AWRCS series. Their first class of the year will be March 11th and 12th at Stiller Motorsports located in Kittanning, PA. It is suitable for peewee, youth and adults of all skill levels. The start time for both days is 10 am and lunch is provided by Steve and Amy Stiller of Stiller Motorsports.

Jones and Roman MX School
Jones and Roman MX school is hosted by Mike Jones and Steve Roman. It is also currently held at Switchback MX indoor in Butler, PA. Monday nights is small bikes and Wednesdays is bigger bikes. Both days' classes are from 6 pm to 8 pm. They also welcome all skill levels and ages.

AWRCS/Stiller Motorsports
AWRCS also holds riding classes sometimes hosted by pros like Liam Draper. They are held at Stiller Motorsports in Kittanning, PA by Steve and Amy Stiller.
These classes are random and you must be pre-registered, so be sure to follow their Facebook page for announcements.
All classes mention helping with starts, technique and overall improvement. Classes offer every rider the opportunity to learn something new, so sign up for one or multiple to improve your skills!
