Florida is the place to be this weekend if you love dirt bikes and racing! GNCC racing resumes this weekend for Wild Boar in Palatka, Florida. Supercross Round 8 is also happening at Daytona Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida. Monster Energy also hosts bike week in Daytona too! Keep reading for all the information for this weekend's events!

GNCC Round 2

GNCC Round 2 is in Palatka, Florida this weekend (March 2nd and 3rd). This event is held near the Rodman Plantation , where many other events such as weddings, parties and retreats happen. The land is beautiful but holds a tough course. The track is sandy and filled with mud holes. There is a variety of terrain from tight tree sections, to wide open flat stretches. 

Gates will open Thursday evening at 6pm. There are camping hookups, but if you didn't grab a reservation in advance, all the spots are full. 

Saturday will host the ATV events as well as ePeeWee (Stacyc). Dirt bikes race Sunday. As usual, the Team Faith chapel service will also be held Saturday evening at 7pm. You can also catch a Supercross watch party at the finish line!

Supercross Round 8

Supercross racing hosts Round 8 at the Daytona Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida. The race is March 2nd at 7 pm.

This is Florida's only Supercross event! You can grab general admission tickets with optional trackside add ons here. As the site states, parking is limited so be sure to purchase a pass in advance to guarantee a spot.

Daytona Bike Week

If you happen to be heading to Florida for the above races, you might also want to check out bike week in Daytona! This year is the 83rd annual event and is being held from March 1st to March 9th. Check out the list of activities on their site. If you like motorcycles, this is the event for you. Between shows, parades and rides- there is so much to check out!

What's Next?

Stay tuned and make sure to check our Instagram for results from Wild Boar. Round 3 GNCC will be held in Washington, Georgia at Aonia MX Pass on March 9th and 10th. It is a favorite track among GNCC racers and also pulls some locals. Uniquely, it features a part of the motocross track for a change of scenery from the typical hare scramble tracks.

Round 9 for Supercross will be held in Birmingham, Alabama on March 9th. You can still buy tickets here or tune into live TV through Peacock the day of.
