As spring approaches, race season is on all of our minds. It's time to get your bikes ready, get new gear and order graphics! There are a couple races this weekend to pay attention to.
GNCC round 2 "Wild Boar" is this weekend in Palatka, Florida. ATVs and Stacyc bikes are Saturday and dirt bikes are Sunday. This event is held at the Rodman Plantation, a 6,000 acre cattle and timber plantation. The venue is also used for weddings and events. Check out more information on this location here. Gates open at 6 pm on Thursday, March 2, 2023.
This is one of the most popular Florida rounds GNCC has ever hosted. It's known for its typical Florida landscape. The black soil, mud holes, slow tight sections and wide open fast sections make it a tough race.
If you're at the track Saturday evening, head over to the SX Party at the finish line to watch the Daytona Supercross.
Another event to check out this weekend is the Daytona Supercross race. It's the Annual Monster Energy Ricky Carmichael Daytona Amateur Race- the biggest amateur 3-day race on the planet. “This year’s DAYTONA Supercross design is one of the best. It races great for the riders – it’s safe yet challenging and it’s very similar to last year with the split lanes. Daytona is the toughest, gnarliest race on the Supercross circuit, but it’s the most special to win. This track is going to produce great racing and I think the riders are going to put on a fantastic display for all our fans," Carmichael said. Ricky helped design the track again this year. Check out this article for more information about the race.
It is being held at the Daytona International Speedway, about an hour and a half from the GNCC track (which is the perfect opportunity to hit up both events). Daytona Beach is also a few minutes away, making this the perfect vacation opportunity for anyone going.

Keep checking back with us for information on more races throughout the season. GNCC round 3 will be "The General" held in Washington, Georgia March 10-12, 2023. It is at the Aonia Pass MX track. More information can be found on the GNCC website here.
The next Supercross race is round 9 on March 11, 2023, held in Indianapolis, Indiana at the Lucas Oil Stadium. Check out the website for more information here.
